Finding a home in Tokyo can be hard

Finding a home in Tokyo can be hard for several reasons, especially for expatriates who are new to the country.

Language Barrier

Looking for a home in Tokyo can be really tough, especially if you don't speak Japanese well. It can be confusing to understand rental contracts, talk to landlords, and figure out what to do. This can make you feel lost and stressed.

Lots of Rules and Costs

There are also many rules and costs that are different from other countries. You might need a guarantor, pay key money, and deal with other fees that you’re not used to. This can make renting or buying a home feel complicated and scary.

Limited Foreign-Friendly Options For Rentals

Not all properties are available to foreigners. Some landlords are hesitant to rent to non-Japanese tenants due to perceived risks and communication barriers.

Hear from My Happy Clients

Hannah & Chris
After many bad experiences with Japanese real estate agents, it was so nice to meet with an agent that truly understands what it’s like to find an apartment as a foreigner. It felt like Yoh really cared about our future in Japan and was passionate about real estate, so we felt safe in his hands. He managed to find us an amazing apartment in Tokyo, with an office space nearby and a parking lot for a big car - three things that are usually very difficult to achieve! Thank you so much for your help!
Steffie
Having moved six times in Tokyo and speaking with at least 15+ real estate agents and companies, I can confidently say that Yoh stands out for his strategic approach and clear communication. Working with Yoh during my latest move was an absolute pleasure for several reasons. Firstly, his transparency and straightforwardness made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

What I found particularly helpful about Yoh's services was his kindness and patience. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, ensuring that every option we considered was aligned with what I was looking for. His approach wasn't just about finding any rental; it was about finding the perfect home for my needs.

On the very first day of viewing apartments, we found the ideal rental. He was always available to answer questions, provide insights, and offer support, which made me feel confident and well-guided throughout the process.I will undoubtedly be working with him again when it’s time to buy.
